Forest fires are devastating because we protect structures in the path of the fire. If we eliminate the structure as a fuel source from the fire and its flying embers we can more effectively use personnel and protect them rather than put them in danger. We aim to produce a whole automated system to insulate, within minutes, a house or other building from any forest fire nearby. We aim to have an automated system that spreads a hard shell of foam that will be washed away after the danger is passed to be nutritive to the environment. Research has shown that people would be willing to pay up to ten percent of their home value. If that averages at $20,000 and the cost are $10,000 then with a profit from a potential 500,000 to 1million plus homes the initial profits could be 5billion dollars and ongoing profits from preventative maintenance, remodel work, and new construction costs.
